Back in 2001, VW showed a conept version of a new microbus. Word is, nothing this cool is ever going to be produced, but apparently a deal was worked out to create a new minivan on a Chrysler platform. Details are scarce.
Hey VW, why not communicate with your audience a bit and let us know the plans. Is there a release date? Has it been cancelled? Why give customers the silent treatment?

I was shocked to learn that you can no longer buy a new Eurovan in the USA. What gives? Best as I can understand, the car was stopped in the USA to clear the way for a new minivan, which looked cool when it was a concept car, has since been planned for a Chrysler platform, and seems pretty up in the air as to whether it is actually coming or not.
I’d love to be able to just get some better info from Volkswagen. Is the minivan coming? When? Can you import a Eurovan from Europe? If anyone has any info, please share.
